Left Heart Catherization

  • This procedure is also known as coronary angiography. It is performed in the hospital to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease. A tube is inserted in the groin or wrist and a special dye is used to take pictures of the arteries that supply the heart muscle. During this procedure, a cardiac stent may be used. A stent is used to treat narrowing or blockage to improve blood flow to the heart muscle.

Lower Extremity Angiography

  • Procedure used to identify and treat problems of the circulation of the legs and feet using X-rays and injection of a special dye to see the arteries.

Ultrasound

  • Diagnostic imaging to image circulation issues of the heart, legs,  and neck.

Venous Ablation

  • A nonsurgical procedure to treat varicose veins.
